Another remake film of 2011 Tamil romantic drama ‘Engeyum Appothum’ – Anywhere Anytime -  in Kannada by Mahesh Rao as director went on the floor on Monday morning.

Vivek a close relative of dream merchant of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran makes his debut as hero. His pair is Deepa Sannidhi a lucky actress. Another pair of this film is played by Aneesh and Sindhu Lokanath.

This is a comeback for Narasimhan brother in law of V Ravichandran. He made ‘Putnanja’ a block buster 15 years ago. Narasimhan has good confidence on the subject and he is producing from his industry banner Sunrise.

The original Tamil film was also in Telugu as dubbed version ‘Journey’ – in both the languages it saw success. Directed by Saravanan it starred Jai, Anjali, Ananya and Sharavanand was produced by topnotch AR Mugugudoss.

It is Chennai to Thiruchi in Tamil but it is Bangalore to Davanagere in Kannada says director Mahesh Rao who had directed his previous film also from Tamil film – Case No.18/9 in Kannada. Mahesh Rao was first invited by K Manju to make this film. It is a week later K Manju given the rights to Narasimhan via V Ravichandran. Again the direction came to Mahesh Rao.

V harikrishna is getting ready five songs for this film and none of them are from original film.

Deepa Sannidhi thanking her mentor Subramanyam stated that the role she wanted to play came to her. One year ago she saw the Tamil film and admired the role and she got the same. According to Deepa a remake is difficult and we have to cross the bench mark to appeal widely she says. She plays the role of Anjali in Kannada version.

Aneesh is playing Gautham role, newcomer Vivek plays Jai role. Vivek with six months of effort in acting at Abhinaya Taranga is making first appearance. Sindhu Lokanath is very happy to pair with Aneesh again and she is in her third film with director Mahesh Rao.
